Faint tints in her eyes often appear grey.
Hinting of Storms consuming her spirit
Those rushing rivers that we keep at bay
Around wild waters a hint of beauty surrounds

Alas, now I gaze and I see blue in the Eyes.
Portraying an ocean of mystery to behold
Hiding the betrayal of heartache and lies
Beware of those waves crushing her soul

Oh, my pretty, what is emerging? The green!
The enchanted forest where her heart belongs
Discovering the place and creating the scene
Her love awaits, carving her name in that tree

Not brown, abandoned by the spirit of the bear
Never soft fur to warmly embrace this little cub
Unworthy of comfort in cold winter’s night air
Kindness distrusted being most likely the cause

She builds her walls, but her eyes…
Have me mesmerized, those eyes…
Her turquoise eyes…
They’ll catch you by surprise….
