SomeDay

We will sit on the porch looking yonder
At the kids in the field to run and to play
we’ll know as we see it and never wonder
If this was what we dreamed of our some day

We’ll sit by the fire, crackling and heating
Our children in the cold night air, and say
“This is what we wanted”, we keep repeating
Knowing that this, yes this is our some day

And even if the world tries to make us fall,
To keep Us always, any price we will pay
They can throw sticks and stones overall,
But we’ll not let anything destroy our some day

At the end of our days, we’ll be walking
On our path, holding hands, by the way
Of the evergreen tree. Happy just talking
Of how we achieved our beautiful Some day

And then when we die, we’ll still be blissful
We’ll be buried in the field, there we’ll lay
In spirit, hands still together, all peaceful
Watching over our kids and their own

Some day
