There’s something in the air tonight
that makes me feel like a new day is dawning.
The crickets sing their lullabies as
I just hear my thoughts racing with the excitement
of something new entering my life.
All signs of depression vanished
with this new form of inspiration
dawning on the horizon of my mind.
I see before me a sunrise upon my life
that I have never experienced before,
and below that sunrise a vast ocean.
I know I’m destined to be beyond that horizon…
I will build a ship, I will cross that ocean,
I will take what was promised me,
what is rightfully mine…
beyond that horizon….
