Throems: A throem is a short 4-6 line poem initially written in under 7 minutes. I used to call them scrap poems, and I started doing these when I was introduced to Tumblr. I had a website, so I didn’t want to post my longer pieces onto my Tumblr, since that would defeat the purpose of paying for a website. Therefore, I started using photos from other Tumblrs as my inspiration, and to practice writing more poetry. Eventually, it got to the point where I wanted to post my throems on my Facebook and I wanted to have more material to post on my Instagram. I started putting words to pictures, and it stuck, now I have a system of posting one per day.
