On the way to nowhere
From the somewhere I now hate
I passed three donkeys
Who had been touched by fate

The first one was grey
He said to me from where are you
Not knowing what else
“A place where all my regrets renew”

The second one was brown
He said to me what do you seek
I pondered a moment
“The greener grass, so to speak”

The third one was white
Perhaps the wisest of them all
“Wherever you go,
If you stay the same you will fall

Into the bad habits
That Made you run to seek joy.
When you take flight
Bit by bit your soul, you destroy

Be happy where you are
Find hope and love in one place
Therefore your life
You shall never end in disgrace”
